Discussion between S Jaishankar and Antony Blinken on increasing cooperation in the Red Sea

There was a discussion on Thursday between US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar on increasing cooperation on various issues like rebel attacks on merchant ships in the Red Sea,

Expressed concern over the attacks by sea vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, which have become a threat to the free navigation of ships in the region.

 These attacks have led to a decline in international trade through this route. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said in a post that his friend Wellington  There was a good discussion on these issues from.

US and British warplanes attacked Yemen on Friday in response to the attack by Houthi rebels on the Mallabahak ship passing through the Red Sea.  Houthi-occupied areas were attacked at around 2:30 pm on Friday night. Elephant said that five people have been killed in these attacks while Ichha has been injured. Otherwise, Houthi has threatened America and Britain to pay a heavy price for the attack.  A total of five Houthi targets have been targeted in the air strikes by America and Britain, these include airstrips and libraries.

Houthi military spokesman Brigadier General Rahman Yahya Sari said the US and Britain had carried out 73 attacks on areas near Yemen using warships, submarines and fighter aircraft.  Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah have condemned the attacks on Yemen.
